Wilhelmiina is a Finnish sculptor artist who specialises in the ancient Japanese firing technique called Raku. She finds inspiration in the contrasting elements of life around her as well as the contrasts within herself. Feelings of extreme joy and happiness versus the deep dark caverns of sorrow. Lightness and weight, being injured and healing to ones true self. All these themes play a strong part in her creative process. Finding the right surfaces and shades of light and dark, to bring life into the imagery that she finds within.
