Jorg Engelbrecht
In his paintings Jorg reconstructs aspects of natural forms and textures. His intention is to bring the viewer into a world that they are familiar and comfortable with. Jorg would like the viewer to connect subconsciously, to get drawn into discovering the paintings’ aspects and to be enriched by the formal beauty of the abstract form. Jorg is a full-time artist and has for over ten years sold many of his works through selected Galleries in New Zealand, and to clients in Australia, Europe and the USA. He often creates large commission paintings for private customers and corporations.
