“Strong, confident, joyful art to make you feel like that, live like that and love like that.” Balancing vibrant colours and bold strokes, drawing from the harmony and unpredictability of nature, while exploring the depth of human emotion. For Bay of Plenty, full time artist, Angela, it wasn't the time spent learning to draw but rather the moments where she felt free to transcribe her emotions through paint - with no fear of getting it wrong, which created the artist. Angela says “Painting allows me to feel fully alive. Feeling alive means feeling content to feel however I feel.”
