Born in Asolo in Northern Italy, Marco Baldisser grew up within a tradition of fine craftsmanship and decorative arts. Now based in New Zealand, he continues this heritage through Venetian plaster and authentic Italian surface techniques, refining historical methods through a contemporary lens. As the master artisan behind Artemani Surfaces, he is known for his bespoke finishes across architectural and interior projects. His current work focuses on sculptural wall artworks and decorative reliefs, developing a visual language that bridges past and present while bringing the expressive depth of Italian plaster into today’s interiors.
