Constanza Briceno

The preservation of her childhood memories constitutes the raw material from which Briceño creates her pictorial work, which is shaped through the repetition and superposition of layers of colour that fit together, revealing forms and memories of home and nature. Constanza currently works in her home studio in Papamoa. In the intimacy of this space, the artist reconstructs and narrates passages from her memory, drawing upon moments, people, and places from the past that intertwine in an accumulation of layers and veils, where the intimacy of living spaces, lived spaces, and remembered places is interwoven in her works.
