"Kia Ora e te Iwi, I am Kyle Ratana a Māori artist putting my essence into the taonga (treasure) that is Toi Māori. It is truly an honour to showcase my mahi amongst some of Aotearoa’s greatest creatives and bring Māori culture and knowledge to this space through my mahi. I fell in love with creativity and art through my love of graffiti and I am so blessed that my love for art has gotten me to the point of drawing the ancient markings of my ancestors. I create a range of Toi Māori taonga from hand drawn all the way to digital and I look forward to showing you all my mahi."
