Jo is fascinated in the history and beauty of ordinary or time worn objects. She likes to think about the lives of the people who may have lived with and used these items and wants to elevate them to items of importance. She utilises dramatic Tenebrism lighting with its high contrast between light and dark to conceptualise time and freeze the objects in time like under a Victorian glass dome.
