Jo Kreyl is a New Zealand artist with a background in illustration and design, graduating from a three-year visual communication and design degree in 1991. Her work is deeply inspired by the meticulous beauty of 15th- and 16th-century Dutch masters, whose influence shapes her luminous still-life paintings. Whether portraying delicate florals or nostalgic vintage toys, Jo seeks to capture a single, resonant moment in time—an image suspended between observation and memory.
