Colour, texture, and mark making are constant themes in her work and, as an intuitive painter, she lets the painting direct her. For her, the journey is just as, if not more, important than the destination. The layers are created to reflect current moments in time; emotions, thoughts, and ideas. She seeks to impart a sense of vitality, humour, and joy — a celebration of colour and quirks.
