Joshua trained as a composer and concert pianist in film music in NZ and was recently based in LA, California. His reprieve from city life found him pen in hand, his therapeutic outlet inspired by his love for the complexity of New Zealand’s mountain ranges. His vessel; ink, instead of music. His acute attention to the feel of jagged peaks, glaciers and lake shores surrounding his hometown of Queenstown, have since been translated by his traditional nib pens and traditional India inks. This amalgamation of detail and grandeur can be felt in his harmony of Indian ink line art.
