Chloe Blades
Chloe paints bold, colourful table scapes that women might imagine escaping to when they don’t have any fucks left to give. Chloe started to imagine being at a table in the South of France being fed wine and grapes by the majordome of her chateaux when in reality she was listening to the baby cry as he threw another nugget on the floor while the toddler demanded another episode of Bluey. This idea of building imagined spaces was inspired by Deborah Levy’s book, Real Estate, which centres on this idea that women can own real estate in their minds, which they have total control over.
